Feel better in the comfort of your own home. We specialize in care and daily living assistance to an array of individuals. Whether you need daily or weekly assistance due to aging, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation, our care givers will provide an individualized service that you can trust.
We understand that not one care plan fits all. Daily services can include anything from meal preparation, hygiene, cleaning, and supervision. We will take the time to get to know you and develop an individualized care plan that fits your specific needs.

Elder Alternatives inc., opened its doors on August 13, 2001 as a registered Homemaker and Companion Agency owned and operated as a Florida S-Corporation. We are permitted to provide services in Broward and Palm Beach counties and we are currently headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida.

On August 27, 2008 Elder Alternatives Inc. qualified through the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to provide services as a licensed Home Health Care Agency furthering our mission to be a full service provider. In 2011 we achieved accreditation with Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).

We recognize private reimbursement, long term care insurance policies and Medicare and Medicaid insurance. Our services may be provided through community based programs, such as Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services, The American Cancer Society, Elderly and Veterans Services and government managed companies

Recovering from home after surgery can limit you with your daily activities. Whether you are recovering from major surgery, childbirth, or plastic surgery, our compassionate caregivers can assist you to a healthy and complete recovery.
Arthritis, physical disabilities, and age-related conditions are some of the few circumstances that prevent patients from caring for themselves. Our caregivers can assist you with daily tasks such as mobility, eating, exercising, and grooming.
Our experienced and highly trained caregivers provide the highest quality of care to both patients and their families. Our goal is to help individuals and their loved ones live happy and fulfilling lives.
A professional Registered or Licensed Practical nurse with the State of Florida.
· Conducts care planning assessments to identify problems, eligibility for assistance, and need for services,
· Coordinates services as needed for the client such as wound care, medication pillbox refills, teaching, and counsels the patient and family regarding client needs.
· Review medical issues and offer referrals to geriatric specialists to avoid future problems
A professional who specializes in assisting older adults and their families with long-term care arrangements and elder care concerns.
· Screen, arrange, and monitor in-home help or other services
· Escort to doctor's appointments and act as a liaison to families at a distance
· Assist with moving to, or from, a retirement community, ALF, or nursing home
· Provides direct personal care to the patient in the home setting under direction of a registered nurse.
· Utilizes safety measures in provision of care.
· Maintains effective communication with supervisor regarding patient's condition.
· Performs all personal care activities contained in a written assignment by a RN Case Manager of the home health agency.
· Observes appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient and reports to supervisor.
